MY SCHOOL: A USEFULL GUIDE

Vi proponiamo il tour quasi-virtuale che il nostro Guglielmo Anselmi ha prodotto, provando a "raccontare" gli spazi della nostra scuola media nella sua lingua madre.

WELCOME                                                                                                 composition of the school

 Welcome to Istituto Comprensivo Albaro or, as we                                     Basement

students call it "BARRILI". It is an old fashion school built                          Ground Floor

 a long time ago and since then very many generations of                         First Floor

 teens have come to this school. It is next to its primary                             Second Floor

BASEMENT                                                                                                         classes on each floor

The basement is quite big where we find:                                          ground floor: 1A, 2A, 3A, 2H

-two gyms                                                                                                  first floor: 1G, 2G, 3G, 1E, 2E, 3E

-a toilet                                                                                                     second floor: 1B, 2B, 3B, 1C  2C, 2D, 3D

 -changing rooms                                                                                         third floor:  1D, 1I, 3C, 3S                                                                                                                                               

First Gym: the first gym is a medium size  gym   that has a linoleum floor, white walls, two windows a bench and basketball hoop. The only problem about  this gym is the pillars hold the ceiling from falling down!              

Second Gym: the second has nearly everything the first  gym has but,  unlike the first gym, it has no pillars, a mat, beam and three windows.                                                                          

 FIRST FLOOR                                                                                        

The first floor is the same as the ground floor, except it  does not have a reception and it has:

-Headmaster's office

-Library

Library:  It is a small library divided in two sections: 

-English books

-Italian books

Obviously they are divided  into fiction, non fiction, dictionaries,etc... The most "cool" things about  the library are:

-there is a librarian

-a ladder to reach the books attached to the ceiling.

SECOND FLOOR

The second floor doesn't have anything different from the first floor, except for the library and Headmaster's office but two things that the ground and first floor do not have are:

-room for assistance/children in need

-room for psycologist.

THIRD FLOOR

The third floor is a very particular floor because it is usedfor different activities and extra curricular courses:

-the Art Room has a lot of light provided by the eight window, on the walls there are painted blue and pink flowers and big desks;

-STEM: we can find printers, 3D printer, laptops and charger for laptops, bee bots;

-the Science lab: there are skeletons, replicas of humans and posters;

-French and English laboratory;

-History and Geography room.

THINGS IN COMMON ON EACH FLOOR: 

-CCTV cameras, typical genovese pavement, white and green/orange walls, recycling bins, two bathrooms, interactive boards in all rooms.

TERRACE

Over the third floor there is a roof terrace that is not accessible to students but only accessible to students on rare occasions. There are solar panels, because our school is green and eco friendly! in fact in the corridors there are bins for recyclng paper and plastic.
